CRITICAL RESEARCH ANALYSIS DRAFT
I have identified a few areas where I can make changes to enhance the clarity and effectiveness of my writing. Specifically, I plan to:
- Spend more time carefully reading and rereading the research study or text I am evaluating, taking notes and highlighting important points as I go.
- Develop a clear and concise thesis statement that outlines my evaluation of the research study or text.
- Use evidence from the research study or text to support my thesis, carefully analyzing and interpreting the evidence rather than simply summarizing it.
- Consider the perspective of the authors of the research study or text, looking for biases or assumptions that could influence their conclusions.
- Thoroughly research the topic, seeking out additional sources that provide different perspectives or contradict the original study.
- Use strong and varied transitions to guide the reader through my essay and make my writing more cohesive.
- Proofread and edit my essay for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
I am confident that by following these steps, I will be able to improve the quality of my critical research analysis essays. So far this was my draft but once you see my final essay you will be able to understand my thesis even more however looking back to all the essays I’ve done before hand I would say I am extremely proud of this essay as it truly shows my growth in writing.
